Empowering Farmers Technology, Training and Trade
Location: PDKV Ground, Dabha, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
Agrovision 2025 is Central India’s largest agri-summit, conceived in 2007 to empower farmers with modern technologies and practices. Over four days, the event will welcome more than 200,000 participants—including smallholder growers, large-scale commercial farmers, NGOs, government representatives, research scientists, and agri-industry leaders—to engage in free, hands-on workshops on precision irrigation, soil health management, integrated pest management, and value-added crop processing. The international exhibition spans dozens of halls, showcasing state-of-the-art farm implements such as robotic seeding systems, drone-based crop monitoring platforms, and solar-powered cold storage solutions, alongside live field demonstrations on adjacent farmland plots.
A robust lineup of expert panel discussions and thematic conferences will delve into advances in dairy production efficiency, sustainable inland fisheries, sugarcane mechanization, and the use of biotechnology for crop resilience. Dedicated start-up zones feature AI-driven yield-forecasting tools and blockchain-based supply-chain traceability platforms, complete with pitch sessions and one-on-one investor meetings. Policymakers and extension officers will participate in forums on subsidies, rural credit schemes, and regulatory frameworks to strengthen farmer livelihoods. Complementing this technical content, Agrovision 2025 also hosts a “Women in Agriculture” symposium and a youth agri-entrepreneurship challenge, underscoring its commitment to inclusion and the next generation of farming leadership.
